Nieuw album Transit verschijnt in april

Het langverwachte nieuwe album van Transit zal op 2 april worden uitgebracht door Rise Records en zal de naam Young New England dragen. De band heeft ook de artwork en tracklist van het album bekend gemaakt. Young New England is opgenomen met Ted Hutt (The Gaslight Anthem en Floggin Molly) en Gary Cioffi.

Momenteel is het album vooruit te bestellen via de officiële website van de band, hier is ook het nieuwe nummer “Nothing Lasts Forever” te beluisteren.

Transit gelooft dat muziek mensen met elkaar verbindt en dat is dan ook precies wat zij doen. “The whole process came very naturally; we started writing songs in early summer of 2012 on the Warped Tour. We’re all very proud of Young New England because we feel that it paints a clear picture of who we are, and where we’re from.” Aldus frontman Joe Boynton in het persbericht.

Met het nieuwe album doet de band een stap vooruit, terwijl zij toch dicht bij hun roots blijven. Young New England is het tweede album van de band dat via Rise Records verschijnt.
