We Are The In Crowd bassist mist optredens voor bruiloft

Mike Ferri, de bassist van We Are The In Crowd, zal de eerste paar optredens van hun Amerikaanse tour met Every Avenue missen. Ferri gaat namelijk samen met zijn vriendin van 14 februari tot 18 februari naar Puerto Rico om een bruiloft bij te wonen.

Eerst was dat geen probleem voor de band, er waren namelijk geen optredens gepland en We Are The In Crowd’s manager wist zeker dat hij gewoon naar de bruiloft kon gaan. Een week nadat hij zijn vliegtickets had geboekt, een hotelkamer had gereserveerd en hij had laten weten dat hij naar de bruiloft zal komen werd het tourschema veranderd waardoor er optredens staan gepland terwijl hij op dat moment in Puerto Rico zal zijn.

Zelf baalt Mike er heel erg van, zo liet hij het volgende weten:

So here’s the deal… Last year I hit up our manager and asked if I was available February 14th – 18th to attend a wedding with my girlfriend in Puerto Rico, I was told I was 100% available for this period of time… A week after I had booked the flights, booked the hotel, and RSVPed to the wedding, I was told the tour was getting pushed back a week… Unfortunately at this point it became apparent I was going to have to miss the first few shows of our co-headliener with Every Avenue…

It fucking sucks, and I promise everyone thats bummed that I won’t be there, that I’m even more bummed… I will make it up to each and every one of you next time you come to a WATIC show, I promise.

So as of now, i’ll be missing every show up until the show in Philidelphia, I will absolutely 100% be at every other WATIC show ever, so no worries if your date is after then. The show is still going to be awesome, and my band mates will be killing it x2 in my absence. I’ve got some ideas for making it up to those that ARE going to the dates sans me, so stay tuned. I
