In hun nieuwste video hebben Tegan and Sara de hulp ingeschakeld van een groep LGBTQA-muzikanten. De videoclip voor “Faint of Heart”, afkomstig van hun meest recente album Love You to Death, is hieronder te bekijken.

In de clip is te zien hoe diverse queer-artiesten, waaronder de Quinn-zusjes, een eerbetoon brengen aan diverse pop-grootheden. De clip bevat Cooper Treibel als David Bowie, Olabisi Kovabel als Grace Jones, Tyler Ford als Prince, Dominic Ravina als Elvis Presley, Ella Giselle als Madonna, Ni Ching-Marino als Tegan en Eli Erlick als Sara.

De video is opgenomen, een dag na de massamoord in de Orlando LGBTQA-bar Pulse. In Teen Vogue geven de Canadese zangeressen wat achtergrond informatie over de clip:

“First and foremost we just hope it reaches LGBTQ people and makes them feel realised. Some of the themes of the video – mentorship, finding community, expression, bravery – are things you see so many LGBTQ youth actively pursuing in order to thrive. We need to be strong against a lot of hate in this world. [Hopefully] a wider audience is able to see the incredible talent and beauty of LGBTQ youth. I hope that it reminds people to not be consumed with what others might think, but instead to follow their hearts and feel empowered to express themselves freely, openly, and happily.”
