The Ready Set deelt “Swim”

De track zal terug te vinden zijn op het album I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love, dat vanaf vrijdag 8 april in de bakken van de platenboer ligt. Het album komt uit via Hopeless Records en volgt The Bad & The Better uit 2014 op.
Zanger Jordan Witzigreuter legt uit dat het nummer gaat over controle houden en gevolgen accepteren:
“”Swim” is about standing on the line of confidence and fear of losing control entirely, but the willingness to accept any outcome. I used a lot of semi-tropical bells and xylophone sounds in this one, but it’s a bit less minimal than some of the other songs on the record. Overall it’s less vocal driven than a lot of my other stuff, which is a style I’ve wanted to get into for a while now.”
