Foo Fighters heeft plannen voor nieuw album

Hoewel Foo Fighters momenteel niet actief is, hoeven de fans zich geen zorgen te maken over hun toekomst. De band tussen de bandleden lijkt niet te zijn veranderd, zo kwamen alle overige bandleden naar Grohl’s Sound City concert om hem te helpen zijn documentaire te promoten. Ook heeft Dave Grohl verteld dat er plannen zijn voor een nieuw Foo Fighters album, zo vertelde hij het volgende: “I have the music for the next record and we’re going to start working on it once we finish doing all this stuff. We have really awesome big plans for the next album and I’m really excited about it.”

Deze break kan echter nog wel eventjes duren, zo drumt Grohl voor Queens Of The Stone Age én helpt hij de opkomende band RDGLDGRN in de studio.

Maar op dit moment heeft voor Grohl zijn Sound City documentaire toch echt de prioriteit.

“I consider this to be the most important thing I’ve ever done, artistically, of all the albums I’ve made, of all the bands I’ve had the pleasure of being in. I really feel like the ‘Sound City’ movie, its intention is to inspire the next generation of kids to fall in love with music as much as I did.”
