Sum 41 is voor hun aankomende comeback album van platenmaatschappij gewisseld. De Canadezen worden nu bij Hopeless Records ondergebracht. Dit betekend dat de band het label deelt met bands als New Found Glory, All Time Low en Neck Deep. Hiervoor stond de band onder het beheer van major label Island Records.

De wijziging in label is aangekondigd via een filmpje. Bekijk de clip hieronder. Frontman Deryck Whibley zegt er het volgende over:

“It’s crazy to think that we started this band 20 years ago and so much has happened, and it all happened really fast. When I look back at everything it still feels like it’s all so recent. I think this a good thing because it still feels like there is still so much to do… which is why I am excited for a new album and to be releasing it with Hopeless Records.”
