Het was al bekend dat Blink-182’s Matt Skiba op het album van Andy Black zou verschijnen, maar niet hoe dat precies zou klinken. Daar is vandaag verandering in gekomen. Beluister de track “Stay Alive” hier!

Het nummer is afkomstig van Andrew Biersack’s  solodebuut The Shadow Side wat op 6 mei uitkomt via Island Records.

Het nummer ging in première via Teen Vogue. Hier geeft Andy toe dat het werken met Skiba een droom die uit gekomen is:

“[Alkline Trio was] the first band that truly resonated to me and, hands down, the artist who had the most influence and impact on me as a songwriter. Matt’s voice helped me through so much throughout my formative stages and to have him come in and sing on a song about survival and the fear that can come from disparity was an incredible experience and one I will never forget.”
