Woe, Is Me verliest drummer

Woe, Is Me heeft bekend gemaakt dat Austin Thornton niet langer zal drummen in de band. Dit aangezien de verschillen in muzikaliteit en vorderingen in de band het onmogelijk maken om de samenwerking voort te zetten. Deze verschillen zorgden namelijk voor flinke frustraties en negativiteit. Woe, Is Me heeft laten weten dat dit niet betekent dat de band het voorlopig rustig aan zal doen, de geplande optredens gaan gewoon door en in juni zal er een nieuwe single verschijnen. After much deliberation, conversation, we have come to an agreement, and we are announcing that we are parting ways with our drummer, Austin Thornton.

Due to differences in musical creativity and control, the forward progression of the band with our current lineup is not possible. The differences just ended up creating more frustration and negativity and we feel as though this change is necessary to move forward and is a positive thing for everyone involved.

This will not be slowing us down. We won’t be dropping any of our shows or tour dates, and we’ll be releasing a new single in June, just in time for Warped Tour in the summer!

This is a big step for all of us, but we are all looking forward to the future and taking the necessary steps to find the best fit person to join our family on drums.

We wish Austin nothing but the best in his future endeavors.
