Nieuwe muziek Marilyn Manson is ‘filmisch’

Marilyn Manson heeft bevestigd dat hij en zijn band aan nieuwe muziek werken. Dit nieuwe materiaal is naar eigen zeggen ‘erg filmisch’. “It’s very cinematic. The redneck in me comes out in my voice, and its got some old blues mixed with the very hard elements. I want to retain what I think is good about the past, what music I did and who I am. It’s not about being pissed about the world – it’s about realising someone has to fuck things up.”

Of deze nieuwe release een volledig studioalbum wordt en wanneer deze uitkomt is nog onbekend. Het laatste materiaal dat de industrial rockers uitbrachten is het achtste album Born Villain, dat in 2012 verscheen.
